Teaching With The Metropolitan Network

The Metropolitan Network has been connecting students and families with independent music instructors since 1997. For nearly three decades, MTN has served communities throughout the Chicago metropolitan area and beyond, building lasting relationships between dedicated instructors and the families they teach.

Our model is built around consistency, professionalism and personal instruction—providing in-home, in-person music lessons taught by experienced instructors directly in the homes of the families we serve.

Unlike online lesson platforms or referral directories, MTN coordinates the relationship between instructor and family, including lesson scheduling and ongoing administration. This allows instructors to concentrate on teaching while providing families with the consistency and continuity that are central to successful music instruction.
